Cookie Monster and Man U!
I'm a cookie monster and as the name suggest, I just lurveeee cookies... All type of cookies, all kinds, all flavours.... Yummy!Fortunately, wife is good at making them albeit making an instance one!!! Nonetheless, I got my quick fix of cookies after some cajoling and sweet talk to wifey. Alas, I have to eat them all quickly, just like the cookie monster, if I want my monster share of what is left of those cookies... Darnnn!!! I just simply refused to share!!!!!
Anyway another great news... Man U won the semi-final of the Champion League against Barcelona..... *Pie in the face for Barcelona fans* :p :p I had to fight the sleepiness (sleep is just second nature to none for me....) in me to catch the game at an unearthly hour of darkness..... But it was worth it, for me at least as wife is snoring away sweetly, probably dreaming of shah rukh khan or saif ali khan or some other hairy bodied people, missing the thrill..................... :p
So its quite a good week for me as a cookies lover and for Man U fan.... What could I possibly aske more??? eeeeeeerrr maybe a warm milk to go along with the cookies??? hehehehehehehehehehehe!!!!! *wink* *wink*

For the past month or so, I am extremely engross on my new found hobby of playing online gaming on my Xbox360 console. I had sent my xbox console for repair and was given a complimentary game card for free access to online gaming for 1 month. I have never look back since.
At first I was reluctant on playing online as I am the type of person who enjoy playing alone by himself and conquer stages after stages at a slow and steady pace. Two players or more just doesnt cut it out for me. However I was wrong. My perception changed after that.
The pace of the game is furious and extreme addictive and engaging. I just love "killing" the other players' characters and would lol whenever I win.... Like a mad man! But at times, I would be cursing and swearing like nobody business for being "kill" in action (KIA).
Anyway as the saying goes, "In every successful man, there is a woman behind him". However it isnt true for this game.... I get easily "kan-chong" and lose.....! hahahaha
As the 1 month is expiring soon, I'm digging deep into my pocket to save enough to buy me another month or even months of intense gaming experience......... Sorry wife!
My New Hobby..........

"Kak, since when are you doing things like this?"
that's what my sis asked me when i was marinating some chicken thighs for lunch. i gave her a deadpan look & replied "since i got married.." with a roll of my eyes.
"oh my god! my sister has become a housewife!" she wailed, laughing... when i was alternating between washing the dishes & stirring the husband's dinner.
*shrugs* i guess that i have become more of a housewife now. suddenly i am more 'domesticated' now. i am doing things that i probably would have ran away from before i was married..
juz today, i find myself voluntarily going to the market... cooking more thn 1 dish for lunch (& cooking another dish for dinner)... & clearing the empty bottles from the toilet for goodness sakes...
oh well.. i guess it comes naturally..
my fantasy wedding dress.. nice eh? hahaha... i still wanna wear that even though my wedding is over & done with... & i am as they say "pengantin basi" hahaha... oh well.. one can fantasise... hahaha

Domesticated

OOOMG! My bloggie kena hijack!!!! Call the cops!!!!!
*Pheew!*
Luckily it's just wifey.. And I thought it was a virus..hahahaha Looking at the blog, it's certainly is a well layout, laid back and yet not too formal blog. Superb! And it was all done by wifey herself. Of course I did help...... Duuuh!!!! Help to glance at the screen once in a while, while the Man U soccer match is being played out and gave a yes and no answer,too engross in the match...hahaha Ooooooh yah, and bossing around at times to resize font, to align left, align right, embed pics, change colour change fonts etc etc.... You got the pics!! *wink*
Anyway have been out of the blogging world or any other world for that matter since marriage; suddenly I feel like I got one-thousand-and-one-things to do and at the end of the day, too tired to surf the net or do any of my pastime hobbies.... Only left tiny winnie bit of reserve energy for.......................................

"Kena" Hijack!
OOOMG! My bloggie kena hijack!!!! Call the cops!!!!!*Pheew!*

they must be conspiring against me.. there is no other explaination...
i had the same exact food as the husband & the family had on sunday nite when we ate @ sarpino's & thn @ changi airport. same pizza, same breadsticks, coke from the same bottle & thn the same bubur chacha, a nibble of some mango ice-cream & the husband's chocalate sundae...
& i was the only one who came down with the berries on monday! not fair!
he told me to get MC but me being stubborn decided to go to werk instead. so i confidently made my way to work at 10.15 am, feeling slightly queasy. figured that i'll be fine by the time i reach work. boy was i wrong.. when the train reached paya lebar, i was breaking in sweat & almost doubling over due to cramps... still i did not turn back... when i reached cityhall... i was overcome with nausea. somehow i managed to make it all the way to my office (which is @ toa payoh btw. i know! so farrrr!) only to cajole my colleage to cover my noon shift.
so it was a taxi ride to the doctor & 1 day mc for me. prfft. wasted trip to the office. i should have just called them in the morning to inform them that i will not be coming down.
& get this, the parents decided to buy durian. durian! when the doctor specifically told me that i was not to eat fruit, veggies (okay.. i dnt lyk them neways), spicy food (nooo!), oily food (urm. so what am i to eat?) & milk (bleargh). can you imagine how annoyed i was when they came home with 4 plastic bags full of delicious durian? just the smell had my mouth watering...
To make matters worse, my dad offered me some "Kak, kau nak durian? Oh, Ayah lupa ekau tak leh makan eh?" & then he burst out laughing.
weiz!!! not funny lah... i am having my revenge today... i m gonna gobble up some delicious fruit tarts frm delifrance & get myself some spicy food (okay mebbe not too spicy.. wldn't wanna tempt fate). & if the berries decide to make a come back.. i have my pills with me..

my sad berries story

so here i am again... abandoned... for a soccer match. urgh... & i am finding solace in blogging & hindustani songs.
did i mention that i simply lurve hindustani shows too? the oh so gorgeous men, the beautiful women, catchy & romantic songs, & the 99% happy endings. hey, what's there not to like?
wondering what match the husband is watching... it may take a while... hrm.. mebbe i could watch a hindi movie in the meantime.. heee.. that way i'll be entertaining myself whilst waiting for the match to end.. *nods* i think i'll do just that...

it's 12.30 am on 14 of April 2008. he's watching ManU versus Arsenal... i'm on the lappie editing our blog putting the final touches & making sure that everything is juz fine...
my mood: sleepy...
his mood: estatic..
ManfreakingU juz scored another goal & he's punching the air mumbling "yes-ah" *rolls eyes* i no understand. even the kitties are looking @ him with an amused look.. oh well.. *shrugs*
neways, went to his couzie's wedding juz now. i was oohh & ahhhing at the deco, @ the food, @ the outfits. @ the rate i was going, one would think that i am planning my wedding instead of already being married. been there done that. but i still love all the hustle & bustle, the ohhh so lovely deco.. diases especially are a special focal point for me.. oohhh & the bride's dress..so pwetty. *shrugs* you can juz say that wedding seem so magical to me...
